Do this for every page you would like to follow in your feed. This could be a community group, partner page, or competition page. I also like to add current events and media companies that create content that aligns with my target audience.

Thank you for this post. I have a personal facebook page, that I never did anything with. I am not following any friends and friends are not following me; plus, I have no content posted on it. I recently opened a business page through it. I checked, and I am listed as having an admin role. Can I get the same outcome you described by leaving it as is, and creating a new personal account to interact with family & friends, or would I need to follow your steps to get the outcome you described?
I have been the admin for a business facebook page for 7 years. It is linked to my personal page. I now need to turn over the admin role to another person. But I cannot figure out how to do that since the password for both pages is the same as far as I remember,. I cannot find where on the business page I go to change the admin. Is this possible to do?
Hi Virginia, Thanks for your question. Facebook updates this process quite regularly. I recommend typing in business.facebook.com into your url to see if that directs you to the business manager. Hope this answers your question.
I have a question, I hope it is ok, if I follow the above steps will I then be able to post to a group from my business profile as I cant at the moment as I cant post from my business page to a group only from my private profile.
The good news is, even though your personal profile and business page look like they are inextricably connected, no one but you can see that connection. Facebook treats them like two separate entities.
Just because you created a business page does not mean the two profiles will show up as linked on the social media platform. Anything you post on your personal page will stay there and not show up on your business page, and vice versa.
Thank you for the above, what im having trouble with is being up to find a way on my business page to like and follow other businesses can you advise me on how to do this without it defaulting to my personal page? Thanks
My personal page was hacked and I had to create new. The problem is that the page that was hacked was linked to my business page. My old personal profile no longer exist, but I my business page is still present. I can seem to find a way to get into the business page. Please assist. Thanks
Hi Jay, thanks for your comment. You can turn business page notifications off on your personal profile page, then just set up notifications to be delivered by email or via the Pages app (which you can use to manage your business page). Hope that helps.
An employee for my small business set up our Facebook page for the business. She is no longer with the business. Now when I post things on instagram and share it to my business page , it still says posted by ___________ (old employees name).. She is no longer affiliated with the business. How can I change this?
Review the Accounts page of the Authenticator app on your device, to make sure your account information is right and that there's an associated verification code. For additional security, the verification code changes every 30 seconds preventing someone from using a code multiple times.
Open the Authenticator app, select Add account from the Customize and control icon in the upper right, select Other account (Google, Facebook, etc.), and then select enter this text code from the text at the top of the page.
The Accounts page of the app shows you your account name and a verification code. For additional security, the verification code changes every 30 seconds preventing someone from using a code multiple times.
On the Add a backup verification method page on your computer, type the verification code provided by your backup verification method for your Amazon account, and then select Verify code and continue.
The method FB.login can no longer be called from http pages.localhost, I get: App domains must match the domain of the Facebook Web Games URL (https), Mobile Site URL, Unity Binary URL, Site URL or Secure Page Tab URL. Please correct at least one of these domains: localhost
So I also have problem with working with Facebook Login from localhost in React and Express and I got this info:"The method FB.login can no longer be called from http pages". After click login button, app just crashed. My solution to fix this mess, was delete Facebook cookie from this localhost page. After this, I still have this error about http, but I can proceed and test login options.
Next, when you enable facebook login in Firebase Authentication, firebase will give you a link call OAuth redirect URI, you will have to add this link to the Valid OAuth Redirect URIs field in the setting page of your facebook app (inside tab Facebook Login). This is the most important step.
There are a few different ways to get access to your clients' Facebook assets. They range Instead of asking for from using your clients' login (remember, never do that!), to getting individually added via your personal Facebook account as a person to your clients' page or ad account, requesting access as a Facebook Partner is optimal. None of these options are great though.
You can choose to save login info on the browsers and devices of your choosing. Go to Menu > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Security & Login. Select Edit next to Save Your Login Info.
Go to Menu > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Security and login. Under the Where You're Logged In section, you should see a list of devices that are logged into your Facebook account.
When a request to this route is processed, the strategy will authenticate thefact that the user signed in with Facebook and obtain that user's profileinformation. If authentication succeeds, passport.authenticate() middlewarecalls the next function in the stack. In this example, the function isredirecting the authenticated user to the home page.
When authentication fails, the user is re-prompted to sign in and informed thattheir initial attempt was not successful. This is accomplished by using thefailureRedirect option, which will redirect the user to the login page, alongwith the failureMessage option which will add the message toreq.session.messages.
The first step is to delete the app from your smartphone or tablet. Remember that deleting the Facebook app doesn't delete your account -- you can still access it from the browser and other apps might still use Facebook as a login.
Facebook will give you a list of tasks and things to consider before deleting your account. For example, you'll be advised to download all of your information, or if you're the sole admin of a Facebook Page, you'll be asked to grant another account admin privileges. Otherwise, the page will be deleted alongside your account.
To avoid legal liability, businesses that implement social login ("sign in with" buttons or "login with" buttons) will need to provide a Privacy Policy that complies with applicable privacy laws as well as the provisions of third-party social media platforms they integrate on their website or app.
In this article, we'll dive deep into the concept of social login integration and take an in-depth look at the privacy requirements of top social media platforms so that you're sufficiently equipped to comply with the requirements.
This essentially eradicates the "tediousness" associated with creating a new account which keeps most users from doing so. In other words, no sign-up forms have to be completed, and no new passwords have to be memorized with social logins implemented.
The user data you gather through social login can help you tailor your website's product or service offerings to suit the individual needs of users better, thereby providing a personalized experience for each user.
Social logins resolve this issue by making it faster and more convenient for users to register on your website or app. This, of course, decreases abandonment and increases your user conversion rate.
However, with social logins, the likelihood of getting inaccurate information is significantly reduced since you'll be collecting information directly from users' social media accounts.
Despite its many benefits for businesses, users, and even social media platforms (e.g., off-site tracking for ad targeting), social logins raise some privacy concerns stemming from its evident collection and transfer of personal information.
It's clear that having a Privacy Policy is a great idea, but it's also required by law. Let's look more at the reasons why you actually need a Privacy Policy if you're using any social login buttons functionality.
Now that we're clear on what social logins are and why a Privacy Policy is required to implement them, let's examine the privacy requirements of top social networking platforms and see how you can comply. 2ff7e9595c
